i hate it when people make you leave your shoes before you enter their room or the go upstairs because it’s not as if their floor is clean anyway. i mean, the only logical reason i can think of—for this to be an acceptable request—is that their floor is spotless and there is nothing filthy about their marble/wood whatsoever. But, the thing is, 99% of the houses that make me take off my shoes have dirty floors! wtf, man. i don’t understand what i ever did to you for you to make me an unhygienic being by stepping on dust and dirt.
